Do I need a diagnosis before I come in?
No. That’s our job. You come in with symptoms, we do a thorough exam, and we tell you what’s going on in plain language.
Do you take my insurance?
We’ll check your benefits for you — just give us a call and we’ll sort it out before your visit.
Can you help if I’ve had pain for years?
Chronic pain is one of the most common things we see. Even long-standing issues often improve once we find the real source.
How fast can I get in?
We can often get you in within 24 hours. If you need something sooner than the online schedule shows, call us — we may have a last-minute opening.
How long does a chiropractic visit take?
Your first visit runs about 45 minutes to an hour with the exam and consultation. Regular visits are much quicker – usually 15 to 30 minutes, easy to fit into a lunch break.
Does insurance cover chiropractic care?
We are in network with most plans from Highmark, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United, and UPMC, and we also work with auto insurance and workers’ compensation cases. We’ll verify your benefits before your first visit so you know exactly what your copay or deductible will be — just call us to get your more specific benefits. Medicare covers spinal manipulation too, though with its own limits.
Is chiropractic care safe?
Yes – it’s one of the safest options out there for back and neck pain, with far fewer risks than surgery or long-term pain medication. We’re licensed, trained doctors, and every plan starts with a proper exam so we only treat what’s appropriate.
Do you offer same-day appointments?
We do our best. If you’re in real pain, call us and we’ll get you in as quickly as we can – often the same day at one of our two offices in Mt. Lebanon or McMurray.
How much does a chiropractor cost?
The honest answer is it depends on your insurance and what care you need – so just call us. If you have insurance, we’ll check your benefits before your first visit and tell you exactly what you’ll owe. If you’re paying out of pocket, call either our Mt.
